We are seeking a visionary and dedicated Campus Head of Secondary to join our expanding leadership team, commencing June 2026. Leadership Opportunity in International Secondary Education
The Campus Head of Secondary will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Garden Hills secondary campus, ensuring excellent teaching and learning, strong pastoral care, and an energetic, collaborative culture. This role is central to delivering our bilingual curriculum aligned with Cambridge International and Vietnamese standards, developing staff, and maintaining the highest professional and safeguarding practices across the campus.
Key Leadership Responsibilities
Lead the campus vision and translate institutional strategy into measurable outcomes for student learning, wellbeing and community engagement.
Work with our Cambridge Professional Development Centre to support continuous staff improvement and leadership growth.
Join a multicultural school community committed to respect, participation and kindness, with strong parental and local partnerships.
Influence curriculum development, pastoral systems, and enrichment programmes for a diverse cohort of secondary learners.
Provide inspirational and visible leadership for the secondary campus, setting high standards for teaching, learning and student outcomes.
Manage day‑to‑day campus operations, including timetable oversight, staffing, resource allocation and health & safety compliance.
Lead curriculum implementation across Years 6–12, ensuring alignment with Cambridge International and Vietnamese national requirements and coherent progression between key stages.
Develop and implement effective assessment and reporting systems to monitor student progress and inform teaching practice.
Oversee pastoral care and safeguarding provision, promoting wellbeing, positive behaviour and a safe learning environment for all students.
Recruit, line‑manage and mentor secondary staff, fostering a collaborative culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement.
Lead whole‑school initiatives, extra‑curricular activities and community engagement events to enrich student experience.
Maintain professional relationships with parents, community stakeholders and the wider VAS leadership team to promote the campus and its achievements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven Leadership: Senior leadership experience in a secondary school setting, preferably within an international or bilingual environment, with a demonstrable track record of raising standards.
Curriculum Expertise: Deep understanding of secondary curricula (Cambridge IGCSE/A‑Level or equivalent) and the ability to lead curricular development and assessment practice.
People Management: Strong skills in staff recruitment, development, performance management and building high‑performing teams.
Student‑Centred Approach: Commitment to inclusive education, wellbeing and personalised support for diverse learners.
Operational Acumen: Experience managing budgets, timetables, compliance and campus logistics with attention to detail and accountability.
Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents and external partners.
Innovative and Reflective: A forward‑thinking leader who embraces evidence‑based practice, data‑informed decision making and continuous professional reflection.

Essential Criteria
Relevant Masters degree in International Education, Educational Leadership or similar and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, or international equivalent).
Substantial senior leadership experience within secondary education, including whole‑school or campus leadership responsibility.
Proven experience of curriculum leadership, staff development and performance management.
Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
Right to work in Vietnam by the July 2026 start date, or willingness to complete necessary visa and relocation processes with support from VAS.
