Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons to primary students following Cambridge International and Vietnamese national curriculum standards.
• Use diverse and inclusive teaching strategies to meet a variety of learning needs and abilities.
• Design, implement, and assess formative and summative assignments; provide feedback that supports student development.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment which upholds VAS’s values of respect, participation, and kindness.
• Collaborate with year group and subject teachers to plan curriculum, share resources, and continually develop teaching practice.
• Take part in school-wide events, extra-curricular activities, and enrichment opportunities for primary learners.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and guardians about student progress and wellbeing.
• Lead or support at least one (1) extra-curricular club or enrichment activity weekly as required by the school.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven Classroom Skills: Demonstrated expertise in delivering lively, age-appropriate lessons using a variety of methods and technology.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a relevant subject, plus a recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Primary Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of international primary frameworks, with a commitment to child-centred and inclusive learning.

• Passion and Dedication: Genuine interest in supporting children’s growth, and a motivation to contribute positively to school life in Vietnam.

Essential Criteria

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Primary Education or relevant subject.
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or international equivalent).
• At least two years’ recent experience teaching primary school aged children in an school setting.
• Good ICT skills and enthusiasm for integrating technology in classroom learning.
