Nicholas Cleary

I'm Nick, from London, and have been a qualified teacher since 2000, having successfully completed a BA in English & Philosophy, and a PGCE in Secondary English. I came to live in Vietnam in 2016 and have been working at VAS ever since. Before moving to Vietnam, I taught in the UK at two schools in London and one in Manchester, where I also completed an MA in Creative Writing. This was followed by a one-year teaching post in Wellington, New Zealand. 

My passions are poetry and grammar, so I very much enjoy being an English teacher and the Curriculum Coordinator for English. I currently live in Phu Nhuan district, HCMC with my wife and three children, two of whom are old enough to attend VAS.
