UK born and educated, I have over 15 years of experience in education and leadership. As well as a degree in Psychology & Criminology, I also gained a Professional Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Birmingham City University and have recently completed my National Professional Qualification in Headship.

Prior to joining VAS, I held a number of leadership positions and was previously Head of English and Maths at one of the largest Further Education colleges in the UK, developing and overseeing the provision of English and Maths qualifications to over 3000 students and apprentices. I have also collaborated with publishers and quality assurance organisations to develop curriculum materials, deliver professional development sessions and keynote speeches and worked on an advisory board helping schools and colleges prepare for inspections using leadership coaching approaches.

My accumulated expertise has given me the foundation to design, mentor and deliver practices in education at the highest level. On a personal level, I believe in lifelong learning and am focused on developing a culture of high expectation, ambition and achievement for both staff and students.
